Of course but not until after they screwed us over, though as all 72 clubs voted this rule in I wonder if they'll now be asked politely to vote it out or whether the EFL have the power to go against the member clubs and just remove the rule anyway, you know the power they said they didn't have to compromise the claims

There has been speculation that we might sue Reading if they stay up and we go down. On a matter of principle I'd be against that. The club/Quantuma have said from the off that the claims have no validity so suing Reading would, IMO, be hypocritical.

Of course, using the logic of those suggesting we might sue Reading if they survive and we don't, they might sue us if we stayed up and they didn't. Same could be true for Barnsley and the Posh.

However, I think that the likelihood of any suits over relegation this season is zero. Why? Both DCFC and RFC have been hit by sanctions this season for rule breaking but that rule breaking didn't happen this season. Ergo, there would be no case to answer.

True, though much of these "losses" seem to be the possible value of the shares at the time, rather than what the shareholder paid for them!

Ashley seems an expert at taking over companies that have into administration after he has tried to take them over! I guess there are some good paper losses to set against tax somewhere in all these dealings?

Apparently, according to a statement this morning, the Administrators expect to announce a Preferred Bidder """shortly"""!!!
So, 'some time, anytime now, in a bit, sooner not later, not long now, nearly there'!
    Yawn!!
How much are this lot being paid, nothing to do with extending the pay day of course! Wouldn't think such a thing, tossers!

It wasn't much of a statement. Why they didn't come out last week and say something like, "We've received a number of official bids, we will now go through a due diligence process to clarify all details of each bid to ascertain our preferred bid. Please be assured that we are working towards a swift but safe solution in the long term interests of the club and it's creditors, and will update you as the process continues.".
    It's not bloody rocket science!

Couldn’t agree more. We are now entering the sixth month of their involvement and all we seem to have to show for it is a load of mealy mouthed excuses and us being in a worse position than we were before...eg with a weaker, less valuable squad and threats of more points deductions for next season.
