    Coventry v Barnsley match thoughts

Just my opinion of course but for me this is a make or break game as far as this season is concerned .

Off the back of last week's three points against QPR we have to build on that if we are to climb to safety .

Go down tomorrow in disappointing fashion and I can't make a case for staying up personally and even with a good win last week I'm still far from convinced we are good enough to stay in the league .

I have seen recent improvements in performance despite the results v Bournemouth. Luton n Cardiff I hope this continues tomorrow and cov are on a bit of a sh1t run at min, I know it’s a bogey ground/team but that’s all history as far as I am concerned, a draw is a respectable outcome but it’s getting to the point now where wins are priceless, let’s hope we can nick it and it’s game on regarding staying up, another abject surrender though will put a nail in our coffin and quell my recently new found optimism. Come on lads! Let’s make a fight of it!

Reading their forum ,, they owe us one , cant disagree , we were very fortunate that day in August , but then again perhaps we owe them more than one !, weve had some dubious defeats away to them , now Prem Ref Michael Olivers first Championship fixture was Cov v Reds and he made a right last minute howler to deny us 3 pts , it happens on a regular basis at that particular venue 😈

Exactly , QPR were our bogey team for over 50 yes , now their fan's are moaning we are there bogey team , nigh on 100 years since we beat Coventry away, and also at a few different grounds over recent years , we've made some records this season , not good one's mind , time to get a long awaited win over the Sky blues !!

We ent really looked like winning an away game all season barring QPR back in August. Let's hope the tide turns tomorrow and we can get that long awaited away win. I also hope this sh1tty weather dunt put this game in jeopardy

    Lions led by donkeys.

This miserable git can only see the usual Coventry 1 Barnsley 0, the goal being scored by that Gyokeres, who Conway (arseoyle) laughed at when he legged it out of Oakwell this summer after speaking to Conway (arseoyle ).

Really do need to take something out of this game for obvious reasons.

Need to be averaging 2 points a game till the end of the season to have a chance of survival imo.

Should be a bit more confidence in the camp after last week.

    3 points please lads!

As I said earlier Chop this game marks the defining point of the season in my opinion on the back of some vastly improved performances and the win last Saturday .

The key to climbing your way to survival is to put a run together of five or six games winning at least three of them .

If we can close that gap with Reading and Peterborough to come to Oakwell and a visit to Derby we could potentially make a fist of it .

Today will tell us if there's something still left in the season for us .

It's now or never territory for me .
