To be fair, if I had nuclear weapons to hand, Liz Truss would make me feel like using them.
But she’s a pal of Carries
All girlies together
Nah, it’s got to be Liz first, if only because it’s more urgent.
It’s Shirley Williams we need for this sort of thing.
Or Claire Short ( before she sold out to Blair)
Putin has completely lost the plot. He has launched an unprovoked attack on a democratic State that they, the UK and the USA agreed to defend (albeit only against a nuclear attack - in the Budapest Treaty) in return for sovereignty and surrendering the nuclear weapons they hosted for Russia, after the break up of the former USSR. And when things don’t go to plan, he then threatens a possible nuclear attack! His decisions are decimating his Country and de-stabilising the World, not to mention the lives being lost and the humanitarian and economic consequences for Ukraine. God knows what he might do next but if the nukes come out it could spell the end of civilisation.
Aye
About time we broke up these nation states.
Russia, the yanks and their pathetic crawling chums the UK should be the first to go.
Intelligence? Skill? I'm not sure what you expect. They are all professional politicians who almost to a man/woman haven't done an honest day's work in their life. Only in it for themselves, happy as Larry to live off a salary of £85,000 plus tens of thousands of extra "expenses" much of which often ends up in relatives pockets plus tens of thousands of additional salary if they make it beyond a backbench position. Virtually no chance of about 500 out of 650 MP's of ever losing their job (seat) so no need for them to be anything other than fat dumb and happy in what is a job for life for the majority of them.
More fool us for ending up being run by people like that whether from London or Edinburgh
I get your point but nobody forces anyone one to vote for these fuds. Just imagine looking at this c*nt and going, ‘yeah, that’s the man I want to represent me in Parliament’

Why the need to stick to bygone differentiation of a profession noun? Do you feel by giving males and females the same term it in some way threatens your masculinity? Do you need to live in a world where we have gender gaps and inequality for the greater good of progression?
By such logic does Jacinda Ardern become a Prime Ministeress? Does a female footballer become a footballeress? Would you like to revert to calling Enid Blyton or Charlotte Bronte and authoress?
It's called language - actor, heir, steward, waiter. No need to differentiate. Give it a go next time you're out.
See, it's easy if you try.
But I'll agree with you on Truss. Completely useless and out of her depth - gender aside!
