Shane Warne dies from heart attack

Always liked Warnie both as a person and a spin bowler.

    Aged 52. RIP

He may have been our mortal enemy whilst wearing the baggy green cap he was always respected as one of the finest bowlers ever to have played the game .

That ball to Mike Getting is the greatest delivery of all time in my opinion .

Absolutely stunned and shocked by this .

RIP Shane it was an absolute pleasure to have seen you play .

Absolutely gutted, I know we all love to hate the Aussies and he broke our hearts numerous times, but there always was a sneaky admiration for him on my part, played hard n played to win. Got to really like him with his role on sky sports, an absolute gentleman, respectful and a great role model to young people. You have to say he’s the greatest spinner that’s ever picked up a cricket ball, goughy speaks very highly of him and he’ll be wounded to hear todays sad news as I am, RIP warnie

Played test cricket how it should be played , hard and with no quarter asked or given and right on the line .

But he'd have a beer with you in the dressing room at stumps and you again in the morning .

I remember it like it was yesterday when he applauded KP off the field when he was finally given out in that final test at the Oval when his innings took the ashes away from Australia in 2005 .

    Total legend .

Probably on the end of the greatest comeback from a sledge that I know about and Warney gave a few out .

Shane Warne as the incoming batsman comes to the crease .

" I've waited two years to make you look ridiculous again "

    Incoming batsman

" really , it's a shame you spent all that time eating "

I bet even Warney was impressed by that , probably still got him out though .

    Very well summed up DC.

Warnie was indeed a class act.

    beauty that.

Irony is that Warnie looked in better shape after he retired right up until his death. Sad that we'll never hear his voice again in the commentators box. I always enjoyed him sharing his honest thoughts on the game and the craic was good too.

Just seen that ball to Getting again. I think Gatting's footwork was too slow 😂

RIP Warnie. It was just unbelievable that he'd been talking about the death of Rodney Marsh that I think had happened the day before; Rod Marsh being another great character.

His ball to Gatting back in 93.

    Best spin bowler ever.
