Thread: Games before the Split

Hibs are very similar to us. They aren't conceding many goals at the same time as not scoring many. It'll be an interesting match that one.

We don’t win away from home, prob 4-5 points at best.

They have Nisbet out and we have Clark and McNulty fit so its probably gonna be 0-0.

It’s good Rossco as the form team have it fairly tricky.

Given the matches involved IF (a massive if) we can beat Hibs and St Mirren it’s job done.

We won through at Easter road before and they’ve just drawn against the two bottom teams.

Hard to know what St Mirren will be like but they have not fired yet since the new manager

Just hope we get a result in that St Mirren match to give ourselves a chance

Most of the league have only won 2-4 away games, we've drawn a lot too, we are due a win on the road, and we have won a couple other away games at Killie and Partick recently so have it in us
Only three teams have won more home games on the flipside

I do think we will win one of the away games and maybe draw the derby, who knows, hoping we extend their winless run as Tannadice, yet to score against us under Tam

Well forget the cup now that was always a long shot

Let’s see some of the pressing and hard work against Celtic applied against St Mirren

Every bit as important a match

These next 3 matches are going to define our season

    COME ON UNITED !!!

Reckon two wins would give us top six, and if we do get there, I’d want to see Tam play Mulgrew, Neilson, Graham, Edwards at the back and five young lads along with Liam Smith in front of them for the remaining matches. The young boys would relish the opportunity to have five games under their belt.

I know this has been put up already but its changed a wee bit, and maybe discounting Aberdeen at my peril, but while we could do with them helping us in their 3 games, i dont think the have it in them to do enough to bother 4th thru 9th!

    4, Hibs 37 - Aberdeen (A), United, Hearts (A)

    5, Livingston 37 - Hearts (A), ST Johnstone (A), Motherwell (H)

    6, Ross County 37 - Celtic (A), Hearts (H), Aberdeen (A)

    7, United 36 - St Mirren (A), Hibs (A), Dundee (H)

    8, Motherwell 36 - St Johnstone (A), St Mirren (H), Livingston (A)

    9, St Mirren 36 - United (H), Motherwell (A), Rangers (H)

Cant see 3 wins from any of those run ins, but its not gonna be us now ive tempted fate!

Even though Edwards, Butcher and Graham are the best defensive combination we have?
