I hesitate to comment as I know the response. But that was a disgrace. Warne should hang his head in shame.

One more chalked off today but feels a bit hollow at the moment.

Another one chalked off in Cheltenham Town although I'm sure we'd all have preferred it didn't come tonight.
The scary thing is, if current form continues, teams may be looking at 80pts for a play off place whereas when I started this thread it was around 73/74. If that remains the case it signifies that the best team in the division (Bolton) are almost done as they can only get 82![]()
No more scalps today (although 3pts off the magic number).
On to Tuesday when we could be adding Accrington and Bolton to the list.
Tick tock, the games tick away
The pressure builds
Just been talking to a Wednesday fan ,he says we will need 94 points to win the league because they will win every game.LOL.
Well that's now 92 using that rationale and we'll probably get there anyway! It would be funny though if they did get 92pts, miss out on automatics and lose in the play offs
Two more teams join the list of 'can't catch us' tonight and what do you know, the best team in the league is one of them. Must make us good then! Only 4 more to go and a playoff place is guaranteed.
1. Doncaster Rovers

I really like your Countdown table CAM - it's a welcome alternative to looking at pure performances/results and trying to foresee who will win/lose/draw. Another way of looking at our chances of automatic promotion is to do a direct comparison with MK Dons, who I suspect are the only team who stand a realistic chance of catching us. We are effectively 8 points ahead of them with 8 to play; so in every remaining game, they need to earn 1 more point than us. If we beat Shrewsbury and they lose to Cambridge on Saturday, they will need to earn 1.5 points more than us in each remaining game. However, should we lose and they win, that figure would reduce to 0.7 per game.
I realise it's probably a pointless exercise, but anything that makes the wait for an automatic spot less stressful than watching us on the pitch is worth considering.
So our APPFvMKD (Automatic Promotion Points Factor v MK Dons) is currently 1 gusting 1.5 (hopefully)! The sooner we get to 3.1, the better!
Well progress has been stalled on this for a couple of weeks. An Ipswich loss today would have added them to the list but in the bigger picture a win for them is probably better for our cause.
It's up to us. Get team selection right manager no more trying to keep everyone happy, select starting 11 on merit. Still think Kelly could be our game changer we need something different
