Spurs are a very, very good side, with a very, very good manager, and a very lucky, shot spilling, keeper.

We, on the other hand, are a 45 min team, with a calamitous underbelly. Thank fcku the game isn’t 3 x 45 mins.

Crowd going home on 75 mins? WOW!!!

Absolute garbage tbh, it’s just so frustrating at moment as this team is so much better than these results ! Brilliant first half today yet couldn’t score n fell apart second half 🤷*♂️

That really is a pi55 take, their goalie was superb and we were unlucky not to go in at HT leading but we would still have list. We seem to only be capable of 45 mins football, v Wolves it was the 1st half yesterday, the 2nd half. Spurs will never have an easier win with so little effort, how many times we all said that. In his pre match interview, SG promised changes, well, still waiting!
Fantastic first half Ings, the old Ings would have bagged a harttrick, what's happened to him and Ollie for that matter, both their price tags and reputations going down the swannie. Puzzled this morning, how did that end up 0-4 ?

Lack of a defensive midfielder and our inability to clear our lines decisively then not winning second balls is costing us dearly, are we better under SG than Smith? Under Smith we outplayed Chelsea, created heaps of chances and couldn't score, had the 90 minute performances against Newcastle & Everton, couldn't keep clean sheets, ignored Sanson etc.

For all his heroics in goal yesterday, if those chances fall to Spurs they score them - 17 defeats this season with 7 games left, rubbish.

Time to stop the rot. 5 at the back. If we draw the last 7 games 0-0 I would be happy.

In the lead-up to the game (not on here), many were forecasting ‘doom upon doom’. How Spurs were going to rip through us. Everyone feared for our midfield, and how fragile our defensive line was. And hey ho, it happened, Blue Peter badges all around.

Surely only our keeper, and our Brazilian loan, were recruited with matching the better teams in mind. All of the others (including Deano) were recruited in the hope of stabilising our position in the Prem, mission only just, accomplished.

We now have a manager who was recruited for the next level. He will need next-level players. Many of our favourites will leave. Sideways moves for some, dropping down for most.

Let’s just hope that we can recuperate some of the fortunes already spent before the silly money really starts flying.

Until then? Let's just hope it doesn't get too embarrassing, time for a bit of pride restoration.

    Onwards & Upwards SOTC
