Even Notts shouldn't cock up 5th place now.
We will see if IB puts the tea lady in as you mentioned on saturday. I can't see it but this is Notts we are talking about so anything is possible.

Yeah but Eastleigh 1 Grimsby 0, C'field 3 Woking 0 and it'll be Chesterfield on goal diff - although why sign up for the Notts/Wrexham path when you can go Solihull/Halifax) - it's Grimsby

I'm not worried at all about slipping into 6th - it'd take a 7 goal swing not 6 btw because of our goals scored.

You are of course correct on both points - and maths is my strong point!

90% now it'll be Grimsby - they have lost players to injury for the season recently, Scannell and Efete I think.
Grimsby didn't sound that good, but McAtee is a real danger man.
Efete was absolutely fantastic against us at ML.

Eastleigh have only once lost by more than 2 at home this season (3-0 to Aldershot), so it would take something bordering on the silly for Notts to lose 5th place and home advantage. I don't anticipate we'll now have any regrets about not scoring more at home v Dover.

They'll be in a stew if Torquay beat them.

Stockport drawing their final two games and Wrexham winning their last to claim top spot looks a realistic hope.

Torquay have only lost three games since Christmas.

I nice non-eventful draw at Maidenhead with no injuries or suspensions will be great. Then we just need to win three games on the trot which we have managed this season, rather than six which then adds extra pressure.

Having suffered play-off final heartbreak and losing a few players (Cameron to us for example) it seems that Torquay have recovered under the experienced Gary Johnson like you say. Torquay are currently 5th in the form table in the past ten games whereas Stockport are currently 6th in the last ten games.

Plus Torquay have beaten Stockport and Wrexham already this season and recently ourselves and Cheaterfurlough.

There will be a lot of pressure on Stockport this evening to win, no pressure for Torquay who hopefully will give Stockport a game and not be on the beach.
