Yes Dallas has done very well. Same number of league goals as both Wootton and Rodrigues and three more than Cal Roberts.

Not unpalatable for me to be honest. My reservations about Ardley were almost identical to those I have about Burchnall around overplaying, but I think Neal is a very genuine and likeable guy who got us facing in the right direction again after some awful times. If Notts can't / don't go up and another team has to succeed instead, I'd certainly be pleased to see Neal Ardley get that reward.
