D - Day for Smudge

We definitely need to keep Smudge and the chairman said we will have " substantially more to spend this season".Please make sure we do not lose the players we have TS because we have the platform to go forward with this squad.

Id love Smudge to stay but I think he will get a 2 maybe 3 year contract somewhere else where he can earn a lot more money than we can afford to pay plus being a free agent a nice signing bonus It will probably be his last big payday so can't really blame him.
Been immense for us and I'm sure he will get a warm reception anytime he comes back

The term free transfer is not quite the free transfer of old which was the players then they really did not want…..alot these days it’s out of contract which doesn’t necessarily mean in all cases they don’t want them as such as there is different facets to it all…

Still no mention on the Smudge contract.I really do hope the chairman does do, what he said and we give much better support to this manager, who if not, will be poached by another club with ambition.
