Should have been flying home tonight 23 20 from Dalaman with Tui. Had e-mail & text from Tui saying our flight cancelled, while Sunday afternoon, so arranged to stay in hotel. Tui offered £350 per person compensation, plus £170 holiday vouchers.So got to stay another night, its a hard life enjoying yourself.

Talking to Rose, mentioned you Avondale. Bar we are in, & 6 of us frequented during last month, owner walked in, set what your doing, you should have gone home. I said Tui cancelled flight, paying us compensation, & added that we should have half price drinks in his bar, better still for my cheek, he paid for a round of drinks, 3 ef es 2 bacardi (proper stuff) cokes, 1 smiirnof vodka n sprite. Might see if he's any cigars ext.

Finally arrived home Sunday night, Tui flight delayed from Dalaman by 50 minutes, then problems at
Manchester airport, aircraft had to wait at the side of the runway, until they found a standing for it,
this took 30 minutes, then low & behold air-bridge to aircraft for passengers to leave the aircraft would
not go in position, leaving a big gap between bridge & aircraft, had to wait for a engineer to come & fix
the problem, which took another 50 minutes.
In the reclaim baggage hall, there was luggage all over the place piled up, this belonged to passengers
who couldn't get their luggage, due to baggage handlers striking from previous holidays. Which meant
people would have to return to the airport to find their luggage days after or more, it would seem some
passengers have not bothered to return to the airport, to reclaim their luggage.
