The thing is the sort of "wokeness" people talk about on here is now the new zeitgeist, its not easily going to go away whether anyone likes it or not. Personally I see at as progressive and an advancement to human society. Equality in the world in the end makes the world a better place for us all to live in. Some people may kick and scream against it but its here to stay. Embrace it even for selfish reasons. Some "woke" group might fight your corner one day

Well in my opinion it’s not progressive and I don’t think it’s here to stay.

For example taking the knee now looks a bit childish and stupid and football teams are looking for a face saving way of getting out of not doing it.

Theres a lot of things i don't like in the World grist but I have to grin and bear it. Think you will have to too.
