It's actually a step down ownership wise but it will take him a while to figure it out. The yank that owns Arsenal is one of the lower forms of life on this planet. He's definitely in elite company in that regard. He'd sell his mom or kids or any asset he has for his benefit. I'm sure grooming is somewhere on his resume.

Character like that always permeates an organization after a while.

He wants to sign for Barca, who are unable to afford him, they offered 40M. Barca have sold on percentages of their revenue streams, big gamble on their future status.

When did a big club ever go to the wall?
Look at the squillions the scum owe. Doesn’t seem to bother them.

Surely best bet here is he stays until next summer or even January till Barca can stump up the cash, give him an improved contract and a release clause, going to Arsenal or any other PL team makes it much harder for him to force a move to Barca once at another club, his best bet is with us until they have the money.

I just don't want this dragging out, make a decision one way or another either he is going nowhere or Barca are going to come up with the money, mucking us around is just going to make us look like fools and leave us unprepared.
