I wonder what the atmosphere is like in the Recruitment Team's office ? For the last 3/4 years they can't have done much but the occasional crossword or sudoku and a few games of darts, with the occasional signing just to keep them awake. Now we seem to be linked with more players than you can shake a sh1tty stick at, how on earth are they coping ?

Two more to be signed tomorrow and it's not even July.

    Pace is certainly on one...

We certainly need to be getting our arses into gear, it might not be July yet, but we kick off just 4 weeks on Friday, and these two young lads, they were in the pipe-line last week, FFS stop dawdling and get 'em signed.

You will know if they are definitely coming Sinkov because BT will have the meter running in a TT.

I think BT is scouring the internet for rumours on an hourly basis CiB, and rehashing them from weeks ago. I love a good rumour, all this is wonderful stuff, but we're still not much nearer to knowing what our team will be, I hope Vinny knows what he's doing, no fecker else does that's for sure.

    Latest betting:
Brownhill off to the Hammers for £20 million!
Collins off to the Wolves for £40 million!
Cornet off to the Toon for £17.5 million (release clause met).
Weghorst off to Turkey (permanent deal option, no loan fee.)

According to my "source" - we have three in the Barnfield building at the time of posting.

    Update complete!

VK said he was impressed with the scouting team working through hundreds of names...
I've been impressed with our signings after the clueless Mr.Pace entered the boardroom. Time will tell if they're as good picking up prospects. I would think there was more data on the previous signings to analyse than on these young guys. We are in a hurry, but hopefully we get guys in who can handle the Championship. It is a tall ask.

Turns out two of them were Taylor Harwood-Bellis and CJ Egan-Riley from Citeh. The former coming in on loan, the latter on a permanent deal and according to Manchester City media, both players are set to make the move to Turf Moor this week.

The third person to whom I referred is an agent for an unspecified Belgium League player.

Vinny is obviously hoovering up his Citeh and Belgian contacts for the good of Burnley Football Club.

Makes a bloody good change from the nonsense we had to endure when Dyche was in charge and his whole array of excuses and gravelly voiced cliches.
