What a pathetic resignation speech. No hint of contrition or apology for his disgraceful behaviour at all, just insisting that he has done a fantastic job but has been forced out by "the herd".

    A despicable human being.

Yeah agreed, Dorries front and centre as well like the clueless simpleton she is cheering him like he's a hero. Him saying he wanted to complet his mandate, he could have done alot of that already if the government didn't spend most of their time covering up for him, then him apologising and being 'humbled' then next month something else comes up, rinse and repeat. Also this fabled levelling up us in the North are meant to be beneficiaries of is still yet to be seen in any way, shape or form. They can't even be arsed building HS2 beyond Birmingham anymore although that might be a good thing if they spend the money up here on other things but will probably instead be wasted as usual. The worst thing is his insistance on this mandate from the public, the biggest mandate from the general public for him is that 7 out of 10 wanted him to resign this week, at least he can say he fulfilled that one.

The highlight was someone singing Bye Bye Boris though over his speech from outside the Downing Street gates.

Also where are these 20 odd hospitals they promised to build? I might be wrong but I haven't seen 1 new one being built. Then there's Brexit who remainers said will ruin the economy which it has done, apart from Russia we've got the worst forecast growth, sunlit uplands it is not. What a mess the last 12 years have been but yeah forgot it's Starmers fault. He may be underwhelming as any decent Labour leader would have devoured Boris by now but at least he won't be half as bad as Boris has been for the country at home and on the world stage.

At least one constituency that deserves to stew in its own juice as does England in truth. But so sad that so many fell and still fall for the bull****.

I would rather stew in Englands juice than be in a garlic smelling cess pit run by a dwarf who is married to his grandmother.(
