And if the rumours about a CB are correct we will have signed 3 players 30 or older with no resale value. I really don't think we know what we are doing. And in fairness to TS I doubt he's impressed with a 3 yr signing already injured without kicking a ball or two of our more valuable assets leaving for nowt.
I keep saying it until I'm sick of saying it. There are young players available and affordable. We don't go for them. perhaps they don't fit the management team's strict criteria. I don't know but it's another completely uninspiring transfer window and a season of struggle and dross ahead.

1. We are recruiting a balanced squad based off of quality and experience. Some players will be younger, some older. We recruit younger guys then we have no leaders, we recruit those around 30, no resale. Can't win. Fans who wish to, like you, will create a negative spin on either approach. Simply because they can.
2. I doubt TS is particularly happy that a new recruit is injured but, minus a crystal ball, sh1t happens.
3. I also doubt he has happy with those two who left but the situation has been covered to death and the reasons are clear. Money. As spoken about by Ihiekwe and Smith. Nothing to do with the club, they loved their time here but financially it was too good to turn down. So no, he won't be happy but guess what, sh1t happens. Anyway, they wouldn't have resale value now so why would you be upset about them not re-signing? Make your mind up.
4. Available and affordable does not mean beneficial and additional quality. PW has said that he could have signed numerous players, but we are only interested in those who the management believe will improve us. If they are young, affordable, available AND quality, the management will try to recruit. If not, they won't. Nor should they. If 'strict criteria' is them making us better then no, I imagine most don't meet the criteria.
5. If you believe it to be uninspiring then okay, your opinion. It has been productive for many whilst still having concerns over a couple of positions. Each to their own.
6. Perhaps wait until we kick a ball before defining the season? Could be special, could be atrocious, nobody knows. Not you, not me, not anybody.

There you go Millertop. Many don't converse with him usually because he blatantly uses language / claims that are designed to do nothing more than incite emotive responses from level headed fans. Troll like behaviour. It isn't criticism from someone who wants the best for the club, it is disparaging comments from someone whose soul aim is to be proven 'correct', in his mind. And will use any situation to attempt to manipulate the circumstances for the longstanding narrative that they crave to be right. When that comes at the expense of the club, that isn't a fan.

Nobody of sound and fair mind sees where we are as a club, with the infrastructure, relative success, players in the squad, stable management throughout, and can only think of negative things to say. It isn't possible. That doesn't mean we should all sit lapping it all up without raising concerns as and when, as people do. Nor should we think everything is hunky dory, because we have, and will always have, issues. Like every club. So if someone is exclusively negative you have to, imo, question why and what are the intentions. Leads me to conclude that that person is, like I said, solely interested in being seen to be right, even at the expense of the club. Or is a troll. Who supports a football team that won promotion last season and a cup and sees nothing positive? Who? Makes no sense if of fair mind, like I said.

I didn't think you were mate. You opened it up for someone to actually counter his post, nobody had taken you up on your offer so I thought I may as well. I wouldn't usually, Didn't want him thinking he had hit a home run of points that couldn't easily be knocked back. Never.

I'd usually pray some sensible soul would do it and I could silently nod in agreement / thank them for doing it but I get why some can't be bothered after a while.

Our average value is lower than all others though by the looks of things. We are above M'Bro by a place but that is because we have 5 more players than they do so if they fill out their squad we will undoubtedly slip below them and most / all others below us on the list. No way is our squad more valuable than QPR for example, when complete.

Rotherham United looking at 30 year old centre-half Grant Hall from Middlesbrough, the player
has one year left on his contract, whether a loan or fixed transfer deal. ?

Looks like the player we are signing tomorrow Thursday.

Grant Hall not given a squad number at Middlesbrough, so the player is not in Chris Wilders plans,
for the coming season.
But still no news on the transfer front at the NYS
