Flying winger set to join the Championship's newest Champions...

"Manuel Benson appears to have bid farewell to the Royal Antwerp supporters after Championship outfit Burnley submitted a £3.3 million bid for the Vincent Kompany target", as reported by GVA.

Pace is playing hardball on the Cornet exit - good for Alan at long last we have learned how to conduct ourselves in the transfer market.

Flying winger coming in for £3.5 million, flying winger going out for £25 million.

Another bargain from Belgium, how many times were we told previously that we were scouring Europe for talent, and while Defour was a class act, all we got besides was Jelle Vossen, Fredrik Ulvestad and Rouwen Hennings. I'm beginning to like this Kompany chappy.

Thee and me have often commented in the past as to how bad our (non-existent) "Recruitment Team" were not doing sinkov. Pace and Kompany certainly seem to have grasped the finer details.

I think we can now safely say that Mike Rigg and Co. were shoite or were instructed to be shoite.

The question is ----has BT invested in any EVs yet? If so, range could be a problem, particularly in the January window, because power cuts have been widely forecast!
