It could be Norman Stanley…
It could be Norman Stanley…
PW said on Radio Dee Dah that if the finances aren't sorted for mid-week then he could walk away from the deal and look at target 2.
People have asked why the finance wasn't sorted 1st?......and what happens if the players says, "No thanks"?
Same difference eh?
....then we move on.
I was trying to make a point of which part of the deal do you approach 1st. I think it's always right to get the player on our side 1st, doing a deal with the club is just about % of wages and debateable. If the players says no then thats it......it's a bit like chicken or egg
I see what you're saying and I appreciate the other way of looking at it. For me, the period where he was thinking about joining (basically when it was a maybe a not a definite no) we could have potentially looked at negotiating just in case he does say yes. End of the day hopefully it won't matter and it is a very small ponderous question. Fingers crossed he doesn't change his mind in the next few days whilst negotiations take place. I would of thought there is at least a framework of a deal in place, hopefully.
