I did say after the Huddersfield game, that the only player who slightly disappointed me was Bastien, he just wasn't quite at the level I was expecting from him. I didn't see the Luton game, only the highlights, so I can't comment, but I did notice he was hooked at half-time. Was this an injury problem, or was he slightly 'disappointing' again ?
I would appreciate the views and comments of those who actually saw the game.
Not fair that BT we ddnt have the ball enough they were too big and physical to deal
With - I believe he’s a decent player and he’ll come good for us yet - in fact with the exception of the young centre back we signed and CJ Egan whom we haven’t seen yet I’d say Vincent has done a decent job and to be fair to him he said two players for every position ( that doesn’t mean he’s starting every week ).
I’ll
Reserve judgement yet it’s early days.
Of all the players brought in who have played, he is the one who has made the least impression for me. I haven’t seen what he brings to team that is special. However, it is early days and for me, if VK picks him then he must believe in him.
True CiB, some adapt quicker than others, but this is what worries me slightly about Bastien, he's played in Italy, he's played in Belgium, he's played for DR Congo, he's not a kid anymore, he's 26 next month. Bastien is the one I thought would adapt quickest, but he seems to be the one finding it all a bit too much.
I have another concern about him as well, but I'll keep that to myself for the moment, wait until I've seen a bit more of him. Don't want to be too controversial.![]()
Actually Barrie, it's not BT I worry about, it's another poster, or possibly two or three, who might not be best pleased with me, so I'll keep it to myself until I've seen a bit more of him. I might be wrong about him anyway, wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong would it.![]()
