We renew our ST irrespective of the Club’s performance. My inaugural visit to the Hawthorns was the 1961/2 season, so I have witnessed some very successful seasons. For us, any question of not renewing, surround the cost and indeed the advent of too many evening fixtures.
How we play, who the manager is, who owns the Club, what league we are in and where we finish, are not of renewal relevance to us. Concerned certainly, but our support will continue.

I think that the owner and his lackeys are treating the club (fans and staff) with contempt; Lai clearly wants out and doesn’t seem to care what damage is done in trying to sell, also I would guess that he knows nothing about football and the club management are just doing his bidding and picking up their wages. It infuriates me that the club I have supported for so long is being mistreated in this way. If you add to this the way Sky disrespect supporters by moving matches and the huge increase in fuel costs, then you have the reasons why I did not renew. The football apart, coming to matches was a good day out, usually with my son and often with friends (BBG for example) but for various reasons, I would have been coming to most games on my own. Hopefully an new owner in the not too distant future and my son and I will be back…..

Cheers. I know my son (often wearing baggies shirt) has spotted the odd chap similarly wearing Club shirt and indeed saw one on Christmas Day whilst jogging !
