Not sure if it is worth posting my message/post as it is highly unlikely that anyone with influence would reply or even consider my thoughts or any one else's message. Anyway here goes - first is the mathematics we have signed 13 new players on the face of it that might be considered good,l but given that we have six players starting who were signed by SD so that means there are 7 out of 13 not featuring in the starting eleven. That suggests the signings are not good enough it is a question that needs to be answered. Secondly when you make a mistake that is ok unless you keep making the same mistake time after time in the same match surely common sense says lets do this bit differently - this point is directed at Muyric the short stupid pass not working happened so many times it is lucky we did not loose this game it is no wonder he ws dropped by Forest on loan last year for the same thing. If he is not prepared to compromise then he should be dropped. Thirdly, directed to Charlie Taylor who was completely lost out there today even not under pressure he simply did not know what to do he is showing nothing and if he is due to go to Leeds then good luck and let him go one of the worst displays I have seen in a claret shirt for a awful long time. Fourthly I would get rid of every ex SD player in the squad or drop each and every one of them because they are incapable of playing in our system.

Your right Alf been saying the same but Sub has it to a tee we are far too small - if teams let us play football we’d be fine.

Thing is Appleton realised he wasn’t going to beat us at football and brought on the big boys pressed high and went long as soon as they got the ball - we can’t defend simple as that - not competitive- unfair to harwood bellis as he can but got over run in midfield and swamped the defence with big big boys.

Same corner several times and we still never reacted to the threat.

I can imagine VK was fuming

If your reading Vincent we need a couple of big physical boys mixed in with what we have - we might not play the long high ball - but more and more teams are going to play it against us.

A lot of truth in your post Lancaster.Regarding SD players, I would say Cork, Brownhill and Roberts did well today.Barnes is not suited to the VK style and should be dropped once Twine is fit.I have no problem with Muric playing out from the back but he needs to mix it up a little with the odd long ball. The mistake that led to their first goal was from Cullen not controlling the pass.
Maatsen needs to grow up because he will get a lot of challenges like that one in the Champioship. That was a stupid move as we could have been a man up for the last 15 minutes of the game.
I am dissapointed we lost today but the team needs time to gel.I paid for a £25 monthly pass on Clarets+ so I must like what the team is playing.

The first 20 minutes today were as good as I have ever seen a Burnley team play - ever!

Muric gifted Blackpool a goal and for someone to blame Cullen is just bonkers. To play a person in with his back to the opposing goal from 6 yards out is F*Cking ludicrous.

Muric gave the momentum to Blackpool in a game I thought we were about to go nap.

Muric is a liability, Cork was given instructions to go and tell Muric to give his head a wobble just before half time.

After that we had no idea what we were doing and we probably should have lost.

Fannying about in your own six yard box is F*cking nonsensical and it could have cost us another two goals.

Muric should not play for us ever again, he's pathetic.

We debated The keeper outwood and my only thing was he can only be doing what he’s told to do by VK , should have shelled the one for their first but didn’t and it cost us.

Physicality is our real issue though above the keeper taking chances.

Wow, That's strong stuff BT. I have not seen the game or highlights yet. Was he really that bad?

Being on holiday, I paid for the international stream unfortunately I was unable to get a stream. I was confused that when I went onto the internet for Burnley FC Live it said the game started at 5pm which I knew was incorrect but I could not access the game. Don't think I will waste any more money on Burnley live.

Saved us 3 times 2nd half BT

He shouldn’t have played the ball to cullen Bt but it’s infant stages yet for me , he’ll learn as he goes like some of the others including the manager who’s learning on the job,

I hope he’s seen we need some bigger bodies who can mix things up a bit , otherwise we’ll win nowt ( it will be entertaining mind ).

That was shocking decision making from Muric for their first goal when he had ample time to clear. Maatsen is completely outmuscled by Gabriel for Blackpool’s second. He then reacts stupidly to a wild challenge from Carey and is sent off. We should have won this game but are a little lucky to finish with a point. Our performances are, as I have previously described, like the Curate’s egg. Good in parts. Brilliant football at times is being undone by Kamikaze defending. VK will now have to make an enforced change in defence and I hope both the team and the manager have learnt some lessons.

He is shockingly bad Dd. He nearly repeated his mistake twice in the early part of the second half, after that Cork and Cullen would not pass him the ball.

Nottingham Forest fans did warn us, he's a clown.
