    Manchester United

had a heated debate with my mate who is a manure fan.
He claims the Glazers have run the club into the ground and owners like them should be banned from owning football clubs.

I almost choked on the hypocrisy.

I laughed like **** and he blew his top, said as a Newcastle fan i should be able to relate to their plight.

I soon pointed out that their situation is nothing like ours was, The Glazers have spent almost 2 billion on transfers whereas Ashley milked the club for everything, sold its assets, and spent under 200m in 14 years on players while letting SD have free advertising etc.

I then pointed out that their recruitment policy is why they are in the situation they are in, splashing the cash like billy big balls on average players, their midfield is shocking with Fred and Wilma in the middle, Pogba was a joke, Maguire and the rest are overated who dont give a shlt.

True to form the only comeback he had was that Newcastle fans are lucky we got oil rich owners and it should have been them?

Is it all their fans who are blind to their own clubs misgivings, i hope they blow a fortune on more shlte and slip down the table.............. oh they are already bottom

And I hope Liverpool give them a hammering tomorrow to cement their place holding the rest of us up.

It serves their arrogant so called "supporters" right to have their faces rubbed in it. For too long they think they have had the divine right to be top dogs. Even when Citeh started to become prominent Fergie arrogantly referred to them as "those noisy little neighbours from down the road"

The Glazers are nothing like Ashley and (I’m afraid to say) the Man U fans would’ve hounded Ashley out after one season.
The Glazers are more like a turbo charged version of Ellis Short. They both spent fortunes on players but their mistake was in not appointing competent people to spend this money and manage the club/players. The result is a very high spend on players that aren’t good enough or have a sh*t attitude.

Quite true. Time after time Manure seemed to buy players simply because they were names and not for what they could do in a specific position for the team. There are countless examples of this.

The situations aren't even remotely comparable but, because Man U have media buddies in high places, they'll be painted as the victims.
