Your gripe is again somewhat misplaced. I never said that instead I suggested that wins and points may guarantee healthy attendances. I also suggested that the overall crowd numbers is a much better barometer of how how entertained the fanbase is rather than a individuals on NCM#viva.

Unsurprisingly when you have thousands going to games and a large number paying on a match to match basis a large number can vote with their feet and not attend if they find it dull.

With 1959 in your username I too wondered how Durham arrived at such a conclusion, but I thought id let you raise it.

Maybe he will care to explain? Or maybe he will just go quiet on the matter.

The main point of my post was that regarding entertainment value me and durham base our opinions on what we see, while you base yours on stats and facts.

You forgot to address that bit!
    Ironic?

Well your point unsurprisingly quickly moved off at a tangent after my reply. If you re-read my post I didn't offer my opinion of the home perfomances it appears both of you have fallen into that trap. I commented on what the home perfomances produced in terms of goals and points. They aren't one or a few people's opinion, they are fact.

To remind you i simply stated that for all the passing back to the keeper, tippy tappy in our midfield and defence etc we still had managed to win 15 games at home, only lose 2, score plenty of goals, collect the 3rd highest home points total in the league and I continually read on here how wasteful we were in front of goal which strongly suggests we also created lots. People may view the style adopted last season as dull which is fine but you can't call it ineffective, as it predicted a very good points (50) return.

As for attendances we get thousands attending, large numbers paying on the day to watch games at Meadow Lane of course you are going to get a proportion of both ST and non-ST holders who don't like the style or find it dull, that's to be expected of any style adopted by the team/head coach. The latter have the easy opportunity to vote with their feet and not attend. During all my time as a Notts ST holder I witnessed non ST (and even a few ST) folks doing that on a regular basis by the empty seats around me in the main stand and to my left in the Kop.

Again the attendances have been very good during our time in NL, regardless of the styles, do we put that down to it being so effective at Meadow Lane? Or maybe the majority like to see Notts passing the ball about on the deck and creating chances and scoring goals?

Noticed Calvin Miller wasn’t in the match day squad, not sure if he is injured, but he is the type of player I would like to see at wingback.

The Grimsby game was a playoff match, but even if included that's 3 defeats from 23 home games.

Last season we got 50 points at home, that is more than enough for promotion, and more than both promoted clubs achieved. The clear issue was away from home where the majority of fans don't see the perfomances and ineffectiveness of the style adopted.

You shouldn't but maybe you owe an explanation to 1959 seeing as you wrongly assumed he'd never supported Notts during any successful periods!

My best guess, and it's only a guess, is you misread his username as 1995 I can't think of any other explanation for your comments
