Can Owning Both A Football Club & A Rugby Union Club Bring Problems ?

To the title - Can Owning a Football Club & a Rugby Union Club bring problems ?

Morcambe football club is owned by Jason Whittingham & Colin Goldring, under the company name
    Bond Group Investments.
Rugby Union club Worcester Warriors is owned by Jason Whittingham & Colin Goldring.

With fewer than 3 weeks until the start of the new Gallagher Premiership Rugby Union season,
Worcester Warriors owned by Jason Whittingham & Colin Goldring, are reportedly on the
verge of administration, following a winding-up-petition over unpaid tax issued last week by
    HM Revenue & Customs [HMRC].
It raised the question as to what effect that might have upon Morcambe FC, but the club has
issued a statement to Morcambe fans.

It read, " Following the update from Worcester Warriors dated 22 August 2022, the Morcambe
football club board of directors, including the owners , would like to reassure supporters that
this has no impact on the football club, our finances are independent , as are our budgets, we
do not owe Worcester Warriors any monies, & the only shared position is that we have owners
    in common ".
" We continue to work tirelessly to ensure that the club maintains a healthy position, & will
continue to do so moving forwards ".
" We wish Worcester Warriors & all associated the very best ".

Whittingham & Goldring remain in ongoing discussions with HMRC, Premiership Rugby,
The Rugby Football Union, & the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport, as to a way
    forward for Worcester Warriors.

It would seem developments are forth coming in money from a third party, to help the Warriors.

    * To the old saying, you can have to many eggs in your basket, which looks the case here.

I'm not sure how this is any different to owning a football club and a lighting company?

One has foot-lights the other bright-lights.

Plus only high-lights on new football programme when we beat Reading 4-0
