Dyche to take up pottery ?

Being linked heavily with the Stoke City position, now that Michael O’Neil is on his way to the JobCentre. Could be a good fit if it comes off. They’ll be seeing plenty of hoof ball and games of fine margins for sure. Could get interesting. He’ll also have plenty of spare time to start moulding his team and also mouldingbig pile of clay whilst he is there. Wedgewood or Royal Doulton anyone ?!!!

If Stoke have any sense they'll be camped outside his front door right now. Give him the job, and if he doesn't take them up this season, he will next.

Be interesting to see the contrast in styles when we play Stoke if he does go there.

The Coates family have plenty of dosh too so he would probably get a sight more backing than he got with us.

When we won the Championship under Dyche we were playing good football.

If he gets a competitive squad at Stoke, they'll piss out of this division playing good football inside the next two seasons.

If he does get the job, it will be interesting to see how he fares.

There was debate on here about whether or not it was the lack of financial backing that was the problem or Dyche’s own limitations.

If he is backed and Stoke play Dycheball we will know the answer.

No need to speculate or debate, he's already been there and done it, two full seasons in the Championship.

13/14, Won 26, Drawn 15, Lost 5, 72 goals, 4th top scorers in the league. Automatic promotion in 2nd place, 8 points clear of 3rd placed Derby.

15/16, Won 26, Drawn 15, Lost 5, 72 goals, 2nd top scorers in the league. Automatic promotion as Champions.

What's not to like, if Stoke can see a manager with a better Championship record than Sean Dyche, they have better eyesight than me, I can't.

I do not disagree, sinkov. His record in those years speaks for itself. Six years on will he be able to replicate? Will he change his methods?

Football is not static and styles of play change with the talent that is available and the thinking of people like Guardiola. I read a comment a while ago that suggested that Mourinho has not moved with the times.

I wish SD every success, except against us and will be interested to see how Stoke play under him.
