Sorry just cant agree its no use blaming the players. Even with the worst manager in the world players with supposedly some talent should be able to at least do the basics & be able to self motivate. I know we cant bin a whole team but to say whats the point in blaming them is absurd in my opinion. They are all responsible now in being responsible for the worst results in our clubs history
Surely there is a lot of blame sitting at the Captains feet? He is the conduit between the manager and the players....it's up to him to be transferring the managers instructions onto the pitch. It's him that needs to harmonise the team. We need someone in that team that will kick seven shades of sh#t outta players that ain't doing what they are told.
Having said how much I think the players are to blame it is impossible for the manager to stay. He along with the players are tarnished forever. Is he not gone yet?
I can't understand why you are having a go at other Arabs. Even the most "happy clappy" fan is hurting right now. The fans didn't sign the manager or players but turn up in the hope that the club has got the decisions right.
When I read and reread your post I was glad we weren't discussing this in a pub as you have got right on my goat slagging off supporters who watch United through thick and thin (I fear a dab in the pus may have been the outcome - I'm no keyboard warrior or wannabe hard man). Don't turn on other Arabs. Owners, managers and players come and go but our support is the one constant we desperately need at times like these.
I blame the players 100% and there is no FN way we should bin a manager with a 50% career win ratio because they have decided to undermine him.Too many of them have been cosied up to by Tony,Tam and others at Tannadice so my solution is bin all of them or for financial reasons only put them in with the stiffs until their contracts end and play the academy.
I know that the above is football suicide however i'm sure we all agree that Harkes,Mulgrew,Edwards,Watt and the rest are taking us down anyway so me personally i would prefer relegation with players wearing the shirt that actually give a phuck about the team i support.
Stokie, I have nothing but respect for supporters who have been there through thick and thin. I was a season tix holder with 5 seats for many years.
What I am saying is the United support make it too easy for players and managers to sit in positions and show way too low ambitions (thats almost always been the case).
Any strong team with real ambitions would have punted him after Alkmaar, but too many supporters are way too nice.
