Wouldn’t be too fussed if it was someone outside of “those circles”. Close minded cliquey c#nts. Is it a coincidence that so many teams play the same insipid shyte in Scotland? The Largs school of pish in full effect.

Happy to let Fox stake a claim but I don't think he's the man for the job.
This is where k am too but I think he will be a front runner if we do well against hibs and decent against the rangers.

Once they have a shortlist of three names, the club should inform them that the second stage of the interview process is to do a face to face with a panel made up of supporters. Three questions would be asked by each panel member, mine would be
    1) what formation do you prefer
    2) describe what plan b would look like
    3) what’s the second verse on The Dens Park Massacre of ‘65 (ps only 3 days to go)

If they can’t answer any of the above then they can phukk off

There's a theme here, we don't want a manager, we're seek of managers, we've got Manageritis, we're in the middle of a Managerdemic, we've got Manager19, WE JUST WANT TO WIN SOME F*****G FOOTBALL MATCHES. That's not happening with managers so we don't f*****g want a manager.

    Its one of 3 things.......

1 You are referring to the players in the dressing room saying that.

2 You are referring to posters resigned to the fact that the current squad cannie be trusted to obey a new manager from outside the club's instructions.

3 You have had an afternoon in a Ferry boozer.

'Dundee United could have a new head coach in place by the end of next week.

The Tannadice club have held talks with external hopefuls in recent days.

Former Tangerines hero Duncan Ferguson is NOT among the potential successors to Jack Ross, despite reportedly expressing a willingness to countenance a return to Tayside.

While an offer is yet to be tabled for any candidate, United are likely to make their final decision in the coming days and would be hopeful of a swift agreement; resulting in the next boss being in place by the tail-end of next week or the start of the following one.'

Interesting. The postponement may be useful for us then.

The radio silence with regards candidates has me thinking Fox is getting the job. There's been literally nothing said in the press about any external candidates whatsoever. Has to be the quietest appointment of any manager that I can remember.

This is probably the least I've ever cared and have honestly wasted no time even thinking about it. I genuinely have no idea who is going to be any more successful than anyone else. Liam Fox, Duncan Ferguson, Pep Guardiola - honestly not fussed.
