Very useful indeed! It keeps Liam Fox's unbeaten record in this interim tenure intact.

Similar to ADS, the club needs gutted and a reboot, going down again the way it's going.

I must have missed the page where it said that during the heirarchy's press releases.

The last time before TC’s appointment TA said we we’re looking at number of candidates. As you say mate nothing mentioned about prospective candidates this time, and 2 the names that were linked O’Neil and Ferguson have said there not interested. So I think there is a good chance it will be Fox.

Liam Fox now clear favourite at 1/2. Kevin Thomson next at 5/2 with Big Dunc out to 8/1.

This next appointment is starting to give me the absolute fear. 😩 I genuinely don't think Fox has what it takes. He'll maybe steady the ship initially, but after that, who knows. This is such an important appointment. Appointing a rookie who quit his only managerial post after 7 months is surely one of the biggest gambles in our clubs history if it happens?

I never thought Tam was the answer either mate,i actually still don't think Tam was the answer even now Very very strange times at Tannadice.I firmly believe a cartel of players really do run the team and the immediate future of the club is in their hands. When Tam was pressed ump**** times last season on our defensive shape he continually said," They were not instructed to play like that."

Its clear to me anyway that the players have got their way under Fox as we immediatly returned to their preffered 5 at the back and hey presto we manage to win and draw away from home.As i have posted before there is no point giving the job to a better manager than Fox if the players simply down tools again which they will if they don't fancy his tactics.

I'm not sure how other posters felt but i always thought that Liam Fox was our next head coach from the minute i heard that Jack Ross was sacked.

I have also been told that the story that the whole dressing room wanted rid of Butcher is not true but what is correct is Charlie and his mates wanted him out.The club is a basket case and what's been allowed to develop in the dressing room has me thinking that no manager with a brain in his head will touch us with an FN barge pole.

The only thing that i can see saving us is either punt Mulgrew and Watt, appoint them as manager and coach or use another insider puppet who will go along with the senior pro's and their methods.
Posted on the 30th of August and i stand by the lot of it.

Difference with Tam & Liam is Tam had at least some success, winning a league with Kelty. Liam was on course to putting Cowdenbeath out of the football league completely.

Talk of players 'getting their way' is pure speculation. Everyone could see we needed to go back to a back three. If you're telling me going to a back three came from the players and not Fox then we'll have to disagree.
