Sinkov You have to understand its over 30 C outside, I am even sweating sitting here with A/C on. What I should have written ,is about those in palaces. ''Do you need 'em?''
Saturday afternoon.TV is showing Leipzig v's Dortmund. (A sort of a solution, already 1 -0 Leipzig) 6 mins gone.

Well, the result was good, however, that was by far the worst of the 5 RL games I have watched in the past couple of days! Huddersfield never got going and Salford hammered them.
Good watching England bowling quite well to dismiss the South Africans and now watching Bayern Munich v Stuttgart in the Bundesliga as well as keeping an eye on the cricket.

What a horrible photo in the Daily Mail of bonny Charlie boy. ''Send the pen guy to the Tower!'' reminds me of that characteristic 'superiority character, he seems to have, as I see it. I would get rid of this royalty and all it stands for.

Football fans blast 'classist' decision to axe this weekend's matches in honour of the Queen while rugby and cricket remain on - as fears grow that pressures on stretched police will stop NEXT weekend's fixtures too. '' in honour of the Queen???'' (while rugby and cricket remain on.)
Ah! no honour of the Queen there?? (pull the other leg! )

I started watching with Salford already 16-0 up and the referee telling a couple of players that he would do the refereeing, and they could do the playing. What a refreshing change after that abject refereeing display we saw on Wednesday in Newcastle Sub. I enjoyed the game for half an hour or so, and then as always happens when I watch League, I began to get bored. The game just seems so shallow to me, it lacks any depth, wash, rinse, repeat, seems to sum it up perfectly.

But I will persist, I'll give League yet another chance, apparently there's a big game on next Saturday, Salford and St Helens, I'll watch that one as well and report back.

As I said, it was not a game to watch if you are not that inerested in RL, although the bit with the referee was really excellent and was taken on board by the players ---as it usually is.
Good luck with the St Helens v Salford game ---it could be a cracker, although you will probably have other things to watch iwth any luck at all.
Enjoy any football which you see this week. I thought that your reporter's view on the game last week was very restrained ---to say the least! lol

He's very fair is Chris with his reports, I'm a bit surprised he didn't mention the ref, but he is club secretary as well, so maybe he doesn't want to tread on any toes.
I won't be seeing any football until next Saturday, we had a league game at Bootle on Tuesday night, I wasn't that keen on an evening visit to darkest Liverpool, so I agreed to a night out at the theatre in Manchester instead. Now the league game has been postponed and we'll be playing at home in the FA Trophy on Tuesday night, while I'll be stuck in the Dress Circle at the Palace or wherever.

I'll record the Salford game and watch it later, so I don't miss anything.

Enjoy Dream Girls and don't worry about any sport --including the Clarets at Preston. Life goes on!

I support constitutional monarchy. I take the view - others on this forum and elsewhere clearly do not - that this system of government is better than Presidency whether the President is elected or appointed. I will privately mourn the passing of the Queen. This is a weekend without football. I believe the FA and Premier League got this decision wrong as they have got so much wrong. It was a suspension of football that went right down through every level of football. Not only were travel and other plans disrupted at the very last moment but a huge opportunity for football and fans of all ages in this country to be together and show their respect was missed and replaced by empty stadiums and playing fields.
