Why are people more negative after two away games we didn't lose than the 9-0, bizarre, this weekend will likely be a loss but no ones fault we didn't get the chance of a win v Hibs first

In answer to Stoke at post 283, i was away for a few days last week, and while i was still popping in for a look see, i am that scunnered about the goings on at United that i cannot bring myself to create a reply to what ive just read above!

There is something fundamentally wrong at Tannadice, whether that is the upper management, the 1st team coaching, or within the first team squad, and i for one will be very careful with my decision to attend games.

Shedka, why do you think anyone can be more negative after shipping the number of goals we have in such a short space of time! You are going on like we have saved our season already with a win that doesnt do sh!t for our league position, and a game where we could easily have shipped another 9!

Unbelievable that Kevin Thomson is being considered, couldn't get a job with any of the other top-flight clubs or big championship clubs but seemingly will do for United. Winning league 2 should not make him a candidate for United job.

And with his big love for Sevco too, I'd rather anyone but him. It's disgusting that that seems to be the calibre of manager we can attract under Ashgar.

What's Thomson achieved more than a Stewart Petrie or Jim McInally in management? Nothing.

What next Kris Boyd as Thomson's assistant?

This has got to be the most underwhelming management appointment saga ever. Wouldn't be surprised to see Tommy Wright with that Tangerine and Black scarf above his head......or someone of his ilk.Cheap and desperate.

There are laws for all these things though. If you meet criteria for shortlisting, you have to get invited for interview. Same reason they can't just give it to Fox, there needs to be process.

I am hoping that is all it is with Thomson. Would be far from delighted with that appointment

I don’t know Thomson that well but I am not enthusiastic

Given it’s pretty clear there are no brilliant candidates I’d rather try LF to World Cup break.
