It was a gamble, wasn't it? Get it right and you can shoot for top half. I'd bet Cooper was never comfortable with it. Build on the promotion team in just a couple of key positions and they might be ok - would've suited him more.
As for Cooper, I always thought it was addition by subtraction when they got him. All it needed was a manager the squad didn't dislike playing for (rather than the attributes of Cooper himself).

Might this mean a few redbacks watching Notts for their Saturday afternoon fix?

    Goo on then...

No shouting U Reds during the minutes silence? Fulham's 2nd goal is a beaut.

Its a ridiculous way to try and build a side and I am laughing laughing laughing at them.
I’m loving it so far, but I’ll have to save my laughter until they actually go down.

Tbf they lost a lot of players that either left or went were on loan and that’s probably the biggest mistake that the squad was built on sand last season. I think they still have under 30 in the squad which is probably average I expect.

Nice to see Sky edit out the obscenities, to make all football fans look respectable human beings.

If they sack the manager, they'll have to sign another twenty players. The new manager will want to build his own team.

Forest signed a huge amount of players because they needed a huge amount of players. They now have an average squad size for the PL.
Not sure what else they could do?
Laughing at Forest in the PL as we prepare to play Dorking ‘I don’t even know where they are’ Wanderers is like driving a Fiat Panda and laughing at the guy with a Ferrari because there’s a scratch on the paintwork!

This is the excuse that annoys me most from the Forest Fans - They had to bring in new players because they couldn't even buy the loan players they had last season to keep some continuity with the team ( They had 5 regular loan players last season - Spence, Lowe, Zinckernagel, Garner & Davis & after returning the parent clubs have sold 3 of them (Spence, Garner & Zinckernagel) Davis is on loan to Watford & Lowe in the reserves at Shef Utd - so Why didn't Forest buy any of them, because it couldn't have been the cost as they have now shelled out depending on which figure you believe over 120 million on 20+ players. They did need quite a few additions & the sad thing is the back 3 which they have stuck with Cook, Mckenna & Worrall all look out of their depth so prob more signings needed.

100% correct, but you have to get your kicks somewhere. The average county fan I imagine has quite a few forest mates and listening to them the last 3 months has been unbearable at times, Cooper the new Clough, Johnson a superstar and now apparently neither are good enough for the Prem.
