Daggers finished just outside the PO's in the 2008-9 season and we finished 22 points behind them in 19th. We were one of the League's whipping boys.

I can’t be arsed to go through the whole of history. But every time we lose to a so called smaller side it’s the worst loss ever. There have definitely been worse defeats than today. Mainly in the cup, but is that not normally the case for most sides worst losses?
The irony with all of this, is that some folk sound as arrogant as those across the Trent that they despise. We are massive. Our history. We have better resources blah blah blah. We lost because we weren’t clinical, Dorking were. We made mistakes, they made less.
Today was a massive off day, but one we can recover from and one we weren’t massively punished for by our rivals.
What non league side did we lose to in the cup at home after the owners had just appointed their messiah Burchnall?
If we're talking all-time rather than living memory and going off the result alone and not factoring in the performance, I think I've got one that would be difficult to argue with in terms of FL results, given that we were at home and who we were playing against and the league positions at the time. Let's just say 1931/32 season if anybody really wants to look it up, I can't bring myself to type it out, but that was against fellow full time professionals.
Part-time opponents makes a huge difference. OK we were away today and playing on a plastic pitch, but part-time has to be the decisive factor unless Dorking go on to defy the odds.
2/1 to get relegated straight back down to tier 6 South according to odds checker.
