Of the teams that were in the 8-9-10 slots, 2 (Huddersfield and Luton) finished in the playoffs and the other 1 (QPR) finished 29 points clear of relegation in 11th place.
Not sure we have had a soft start playing three teams tat are currently in the top 7 and nobody out of the bottom 3 before yesterday ?
So does this bode well for the Millers? One cautionary note is that last season at this point there was already an 8pt gap between 6th and 22nd but this year the gap is only 5pts. The many glass half fullers would also point out that we have had a 'soft' start to the season and life is going to get much tougher but at least footballing history is in our favour.
