    Looking back 12 months.

Actually just less than 12 months but I took a look back to The Championship at this stage last season and how it panned out. After teams had played 10 games in 2021-22, two of the three that ended up being promoted were already in the top 3 (Forest were obviously the anomaly after having such a poor start) and the three that were relegated were already in the bottom 4. Of the teams that were in the 8-9-10 slots, 2 (Huddersfield and Luton) finished in the playoffs and the other 1 (QPR) finished 29 points clear of relegation in 11th place.

So does this bode well for the Millers? One cautionary note is that last season at this point there was already an 8pt gap between 6th and 22nd but this year the gap is only 5pts. The many glass half fullers would also point out that we have had a 'soft' start to the season and life is going to get much tougher but at least footballing history is in our favour.

October looks equally "soft", lots of winnable games, but November......😱

Not sure we have had a soft start playing three teams tat are currently in the top 7 and nobody out of the bottom 3 before yesterday ?

Can one of the mods please merge this thread with something that contains that lot from s6 as it’s just too hopeful for us genuine small town fans.

    Thankyou

Don't look now but there are also only 5 teams of the 92 that have lost less games than us. Maybe Bobby will walk out of the shower soon (just for old Dallas fans).

We know it’s a great position to be in and it’s fabulous what the management team has accomplished.

We’ll be seeing Bobby coming out of the shower soon but let’s enjoy the last 12 months.

    We were promoted
    We broke club records.
    We won a trophy.

It’s going to be a tough ask to beat that in our future.

    It’s been great!

Interesting Cam, looking at the table now then that could happen but personally I don’t think it will
