Where’s it coming from that we’ve asked for permission to talk to Paul Hurst?

    Go figure.
    Have we approached Grimsby?

Paul Hurst has managed in conjunction with Rob Scott before and I think enjoyed some success. Is this the partnership they might be trying to resurrect?

I'm told we have by someone who should know but nothing official has come out yet. We'll have to wait and see.

I believe Scott and Hurst had a big bust up some years ago. Anyone can enlighten that one.

Sorry for the typo. It should indeed say Wouldn’t. I was typing on my phone on the bus when I posted and didn’t realise the mistake.

I think if you approach another team for their manager then it's almost a shoe in (assuming the approach is allowed) they will become the next manager. They have been identifed to have the right qualities and fit what the club is looking for.
Warne to Derby is a prime example but we did the same with Evans when at Crawley
More so when you consider there will no doubt be some very capable and experienced candidates amongst the applicants

I think If we have approached Grimsby then Hurst will 100% be our next manager

Listening to Rob Scott, it sounds like he is happy being his own man. Just because they are old team mates doesn't mean you have to be best friends or even like each other to work together.

Did he ever go holiday with Warne, Barker and Hammy?
(ignoring Warrington, as even he wasn't invited this time).
