    Im wondering if the playing surface, the pitch, is now a standard size these days. Back in the day clubs would have to have a minimum size but some clubs would have a much larger playing area which suited them.

    Evens it self out across both halves, as for pitch sizes there is a maximum and minimum and a lot in between, our pitch used to be one of the biggest.

    Wasn’t Craven Cottage the smallest ? (Or maybe thought to be in view of their perceived ‘small ground area’)

    Hi, I think the old Arsenal ground had the smallest, never liked that ground even before losing 2 semi finals

    My worst two Albion matches.

    The Ipswich defeat was devastating at the time but the QPR game was numbing, we did absolutely nothing for 90 minutes.

    Martyn Bennett’s red suit was the highlight of the day.
