Still missing that genuine quality striker, as been mentioned, this two man corner routine pathetic, get players in the box, and when did we last score from a corner. Not good today

Pretty much every other side has a striker (in some cases, several) that if clean through on goal will score 9 times out of 10 - we simply don't.

Actually, we might have but he is always sat on the bench so we may never know.

Joffy needs more than 6 minutes and Perkins is in the form of his life - no doubt he will get picked when he stops scoring.

Palace are a good solid side but we did get done defensively - Eze took his goal well but we dived in to give him the space and the free kick was a shambles.

So. After getting beat, Jesse says we are going in the right direction.
Freefall isn’t my idea of the right direction.

Think we are in big trouble.

Not sure if anyone in the sports world publishes a strength of schedule for the prem but we have to be at the bottom. we've played the softest schedule are still in the relegation battle. Citeh, Scum, Arsenal and Lpool and Tottenham await if I"m not mistaken. Some are going to be gunning for blowouts to help their GD.

Makes the Forest, Fulham, Bornemouth and Southampton games critical. The chelsea games looks more and more like an outlier.

I can't understand why we don't switch up the strikers. Bamford misses a shot that almost any striker in the prem hits and the game gets real ugly for them. He misses and wind is sucked out of our sails. Sometimes at the pro level you don't get second, third and fourth chances. Might be time to do that.

On a positive note. I thought Kristenson looked very good. Saha is a handful as well as a sissy every time he's touched. Pascal looked great for playing out of position. Harrison was very good. Cant figure out Roca yet. Him and Adams might be the type of players that are very effective but off the radar screen.

I think collectively we have a better side than last season, but as of previous seasons we just don't finish our chances to kill teams of, if Bamford scores we go 2 up and their heads are down, why take a striker off and put a winger on when we have joffy and perkins chomping at the bit and free scoring for the under whatever....crazy, stick them both on for at least 20 minutes and go for it.

I'll give Marsch the benefit of the doubt for a while longer but seen as we now basically have a fully fit squad (he CHOSE not to sign a replacement for Firpo so as far as I'm concerned we are fully fit) it is worrying how **** we look. Even when we look good it isn't loads of good play it is just hit it long, press them and hope we can force an error or catch them out when they're not set up. The rare bits of quality genuinely just look like hangovers from Bielsa coaching.

What was more concerning was how cluelessly bad we looked once they went 2-1 up, we never looked like getting the ball never mind actually threatening their goal.

I'll back the guy as he is here and seems a good bloke but honestly, I am just waiting for the inevitable day he is gone so that we can get someone who can progress the team properly because this hump it long and hope we can press them to win it back tactic is so mind numbingly crap, it will work every now and then but generally we will have performances like last 3

Sinisterra can’t come back into the side quick enough.

Heard a few people make the Bielsa comment too. Defensively Marsch is supposed to set up better but we have conceded some soft goals and suspect we will continue to do so.

Joffy needs more than 6 minutes to make an impact.

With Sinisterra back then maybe Rodrigo drops to the bench and we have Harrison, Aaronson and Sinisterra behind Bambi.

Bambi is so irritating as when on form he is excellent but when he isn’t ….

And that is exactly why he is only an ordinary striker, Hope. Has been since day one. The good ones put them away consistantly.
