Disappointed to miss it but I did have a bit on at 12/5 this morning when I read Kwarteng was flying back. Her press conference was simply embarrassing, and she's now 4/6 to be gone this year.

Now that Hunt has his hands firmly on the purse strings… he can finish what he started to destroy … the NHS

Serious question, does anyone on here think Labour will turn the country's finances around. Obviously I do, for all of our sakes, but I honestly cannot see it.
For all the jokes being made about the Tory ministers, they actually look quite reasonable, (Thurrock Hunt apart). I mean Rayner, Lammy, Abbott, Nancy, Reeves etc lead by Captain Hindsight, if that doesn't give you nightmares.

As opposed to Truss, Coffey, Cleverly, Lewis, Mogg, Zahawi, Mordor and Clarke?…. I’m starting to think you’re winding us up now.

In what way do they "look quite reasonable"?

They have led the country to the brink of collapse.

Whilst EP might not be getting rich you can be sure that City traders are making millions on these fairly predictable market movements.

...when there is trouble in the world countries buy dollars out of fear - dollar price goes up; domestic currency goes down. The GBR situation is normal in these conditions. Idiot economists and left wing media know this but don't tell you; ie., they lie to you. Also at fault is the useless BOE which has lulled the UK into a sense of false security by enabling low interest rates to prevail.
The Conservative party today is Blue Labour carrying out socialist policies. It is full of tired, lazy MP's who have had their nose in the trough thanks to their ability to avoid responsibility because of 40 years of EU membership and selling their souls to the WEF concept. Many are thus bitter Remainers.
The Cons would lose the next election anyway if Sunak et al were in place to continue the left-soaked Establishment and media status quo. The people wanted change - hence Brexit; hence the Party (not out of touch MP's) voting for Truss and radical change.
At the moment, the 'coup' has stalled; now she'll have to tread
softly and all is not lost. The old guard should be threatened - 'back me or I'll call an election' - time for some cold steel.
