    Gardner-Hickman.

I hope the link I've posted below works.

    Today's highlights.

Magnificent pass from the lad for the first goal and terrific energy, desire, pace and a fantastic strike for the second goal.

How nice to see this sort of tenacity, pace and skill in the middle of the field.

Surely this kid has to be a permanent midfield fixture for us, obviously a quality player.

Like Des and my late dad used to say, modern managers spend their time complicating a simple game Dave.

I would never play a left footed player on the right, it’s absolute b o ll o x, I used to hate seeing Brunt swooped over.

The best left footed crosser of a ball at Albion since Willie Johnston having to constantly cut in from the right.

    Idiocy.

He wasn’t good in his last match but he was superb today. I agree he has the tenacity needed. Phillips goal was superbly taken too. He obviously has talent. I think with most of the players they are just cheesed off with constant changes. Dyche would have been well impressed today.

His first game in centre mid last season was coventry (I think) which he was MOTM and absolutely superb. He's a quality lad but looked a bit off a few times this season. It could be the environment under Bruce or it's the position.

He's not best at full back IMO, and it's a no brainer to put him in centre mid.

He is defiantly not a full back so you do wander why Bruce played him there, he was ok at wing back but is a far better midfielder he sometimes lacks a bit of positional sense and discipline but with super Jake along side him at the moment they are our best midfield pair in this system.

Get a season of that type of performance and he will be establishing himself well.

Think we could all see that TGH is not a full back and far better suited to midfield. Loved the tenacity and spirit from him to get his goal. As for Philips, although he's been injury prone and clearly hasn't the pace he once had, I don't actually mind him as I think he does offer us something going forward and always shows desire. Might not be my first choice on the team sheet or play 90 minutes but can still be useful. Took his goal well today.

If someone in the top three of the Prem scored that goal (Phillips) they would be talking about it for weeks. If you watch it slowly, superb balance and fooling the keeper.

He miss-controlled it in beating the bloke on the edge of the area and then stumbled over his own feet which took him past the next bloke!

As he tried to sort his feet out he stuck his right leg out which diverted the ball past a confused keeper!!

As the ball arrived with him initially Boingy, I have a very hard time believing that he had the vision of this goal in his head!
