    Kids Half time Football

Just thought I would highlight something that took my eye during the Kids half-time match. Apologies I did not catch the names of the teams playing under the north stand - but there was a player in red who caught my eye. This player was a young girl who was head and shoulders above the boys on both sides in terms of skill and football nous (scored two goals that I saw). Now I must say I am not a convert to the womens game as a spectacle but this young lady made a strong impression and whilst it is at a low level hopefully she can go on and do something with her talent. Just thought she deserved a shout out.

What stood out for me was how the Huddersfield fans took to it, giving it full support and cheering them on.

Agreed, more so than our own fans. Class act from them, especially the OTT celebrations at the end and when the keeper scored from a goal kick.

They did only cheer for the blue team mind.....

They did only cheer for the blue team when, ironically, the other team were playing in the colors Huddersfield were playing in today. UTM

On that point, the Huddersfield kit was a sponsors nightmare, what looked like a dark green sponsors name in a darker shirt. From a distance it looked as though they didn’t have a shirt sponsor.

I thought the kit looked smart. Especially with the blacked out badge and sponsor.

Just out of interest, who were their sponsors?

How did you find that out?

Talking of shirt sponsors. I have tried to work with IPM a couple of times with SIA training and they are a terrible company to work with. Communication, finance department and professionalism are all dire.
