Where has this figure of 33,000 come from lol, there have been at times 1,000 crossing the channel a day this summer. Which would give you that figure in just over a month. Times this by 12 and you have over 250,000, given days when fewer crossed. Given they are all given free health care and accommodation are you telling me that doesn't contribute to the financial mess we are in. More of a problem is their religion, guaranteed to cause trouble. Oh I forgot to mention the hotels that are happily taking our cash through the government to house these illegal immigrants.
Again I will ask, do you not think had Labour been in power during covid, Labour MP's would have handed out the same juicy contracts for PPE etc. to their mates (probably the same people as who the Conservatives gave money to).

The number of people who have crossed the English Channel in small boats so far this year has now exceeded the total for the whole of 2021.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) said 601 migrants made the crossing on Monday in 19 boats, bringing this year's total so far to 28,592 people.
In 2021, the total was 28,526 people.
Ah yes it’s all the immigrunt’s fault your nana can’t get a GP or a hospital appointment.
Definitely not 12 years of chronic underfunding.
Whatever the real number is, it would be good to get figures on these two groups:
1. Immigrants who come here solely to sponge off our benefit system.
2. Immigrants who come here to work hard, contribute to our society, and repay us for the chance they've been given of making a better life.
I think you would be shocked at the results, especially if you compared them to the average Brit. The Sun will always give headlines to the scroungers, while totally ignoring that the other group are the vast majority, so I'm sure you would be happy to read what they want you to read.
I think you are missing the point, yes the vast majority of immigrants come here to work and for a better life and enrich our society but we would like to know where they come from and who they are. If the ones coming over on boats are genuine refugees escaping danger then that is much different to the boat loads of young men who just want to come here.
As a matter of interest now many immigrants do you think this small island of 66 million can take, 100,000, a million, 5 million the whole of Syria? Is their a limit or isn't there one? Genuine question.
I wonder what impact the following had from the 2008 BMA conference:
Delegates at the annual BMA conference voted by a narrow majority to restrict the number of places at medical schools to avoid “overproduction of doctors with limited career opportunities.” They also agreed on a complete ban on opening new medical schools.
And then 10+ years later proclaim it's the government's fault.
Union protectionism has for decades and more stunted this country.
