3,800 crowd for a 7th tier club, they're averaging 2,000 in the league.

Based on those figures they'd probably get more than Hartlepool if they were in the 4th tier and more than Darlington ever managed as a FL outfit. Bigger crowds than neighbours Gateshead in our league. What's going on there?

Who else was there in Dec. 1971,second round ? A home leveller of an early Masson goal was followed by second half plundering by Cozens and Bomber Bradd. 8,114 there that day.
Round three saw us whip Watford 4-1 at Vicarage Rd. before succumbing 6-0 at the Baseball quagmire,an infamously unfair score line.

I don't remember that one but I went to the Watford game where the Notts fans were chanting "Matt Gillies Superclown, Nottingham Forest are going down!" I also remember a Watford player climbing on Mick Jones' back and he just half-turned and shrugged him off flat on his back. Hilarity ensued.

They also had Michael Woods playing that joined us on loan from Chelsea but never made an appearance.

Our game against Barnet on the 26th might be off if they win their replay against Chelmsford City. Their replay is on the 14th after Chelmsford got an injury-time equaliser today.
