I also very much doubt you would have either.
Good context Brin. Yep, was only a **** then so missed that and yes it's the same thing. Just seems like the message was 'well we had that so tough to you lot now' which I guess I can understand but still seems harsh as its crushing a lot of people

Now I know your taking the pizz crash. My dad has one and it's terrible IMO. Very agricultual noisy 2lt diesel engine plastic wood dash like the Austin Allegro had. Seats are not very comfy. Even my mum refuses to drive ot over her kia. Saying that He likes it so my opinion is irrelevant.

It's the better 2.2, agree the 2.0 was noisy.
Had a couple of Ssangyongs ( as I'm not a badge snob) for 6 years, never had a warning light or any problem. Plus dealership only a mile away hellaby. Not great on fuel 40mpg. Service a bit dear 400 plus.

Watch thi-sen Brin, if your lass wants a new model [car], she might be looking for a new model [man], she
might weigh thi-in, for a younger version.

On about mortgages, my wife worked for Ben-Bailey homes, [later Gladedale] for 28 years, looking
after show-houses, times she said to me, that young-uns buying one of the new houses, that they
would be up for re-sale after 6 months, which happened a lot, they could not afford to keep the
    repayments up.
Really bad now for quite a few mortgage payers, the mortgage rate rise, will have hit them, then
along with the energy rises, cost of living etc.

Low interest rates for years hit savers but borrowers got complacent. Biting them on the arse now.
