Didn’t watch all that, but any ref that needs VAR to give that second penalty shouldn’t be doing the job...imo, and that was just the worst in a long list of hopeless decisions.

Don't like blaming individuals... But Kane's miss was the difference. Just can't afford to make that sort of error.
Don't see us having as good a chance of winning the world cup as this in another generation at least. Best squad in the tournament, very disappointing.

Tbf, Kane isn’t the first and won’t be the last fine player to miss a penalty in such pressurised circumstances. Just ask the Spanish and Brazilians.
Feel sorry for him this morning and I really hope he doesn’t attract the same sort of vitriol as those who missed at Wembley against Italy.
It is disappointing but at least we didn’t go out with the usual wimper. We played well against the current champions and were unlucky. There’s no disgrace in that and I can only see this team getting stronger in the next 2-4 years.

I got it right. Great set by the Feelgoods which started just after Harry put all his research into ‘the Stearman way’ into action

Reaction to his miss seems at worst ‘banter’ this am, a nicely mocked up newspaper front page with the headline ‘Kane Kills Pigeon’ being amongst the best

Oh yeah, and nobody will be more disappointed or annoyed than the man himself.
Hope the gig was a good'un.

Kane getting away with "banter" for missing the penalty yet Rashford has had a shedload of racist slurs to deal with. I really hope they can trace the cnuts who have targeted the lad again and can lock the buggahs up.

Seconded! Although prisons have a more important function than being filled with cowardly morons. Really is unbelievable.

Those giving out racist abuse will be online trolls that live in their mum's back room and probably never been close to dating anyone.

Don't lock them up, force them to face to face the people they abuse from afar and see if they will be as brave then.

If that doesn't work euthanasia is the answer, it's different to the death penalty as honestly you would just be being kind by putting them down as they must live awful and miserable lives to act in such a way.
