Players that play in multiple positions

Ben Wiles has played out of position at Left back and behind a striker instead of his natural central midfield and he gets on with it.
Very few players can master more than 1 or 2 positions outside of elite players.

Semi Ajay - preferred him in midfield, though he lacked the concentration to play CB and loads of his headers went straight up in the air.
Chieo - is a winger not a CF
Harding - I prefer him as FB or WB to CB
Greg Halford - Was **** wherever he paid
Arnie - Was better a CB than CMF for me

Apparently Niall Quinn could easily have been a professional GK and Dion Dublin was originally a CB.

Paul Warhurst looked brilliant up front after being a FB and Owen Hargreaves could play anywhere.

Any more examples of good or bad?

Gerry Forest great F/B decent M/F,Will Vaulks M/F decent F/B.Top player Dave Watson great C/H very good C/F.Modern day James Milner hes got to be the best in country, never lets Klopp down wherever he plays him.

Didn't Gareth Bale start as a Left back at Southampton?

Thierry Henri was a very ordinary winger at the start of his career

Andy Roscoe didn't do to badly for us at left back and left wing

Buddy, how could you possibly leave out our King?
At Tranmere he was playing centre half until one weekend both their strikers were out injured so the Manager told Ronnie to go and fill in up front.
Scored pretty regularly from then on and as they say, “A King was born”

To think of all the 40 odd goals we witnessed that he scored for us. We may never have seen them had he stayed a Centre Half.

you learn every day - never realised Ronnie started off life as a CB - certainly a decent CF for us, though the QPR goalie may disagree after that infamous challenge
