No surprise there. Norwich fans have been asking for his head for a while now. Those I know who go to their games say how poor they have been under him this season with comments not unlike our own on Bruce. They aren't stupid and know that this league is a close one and that bouncing straight back was no cast iron guarantee but should certainly have done better. Though there remain a very few like TM with enough fight and nouse, seems like the "old school" lot are finally on their way out?

I've never seen Smith as a dinosaur and assume he just gets that rep because of his age and nationality. His football at Walsall, Brentford and Villa was decent.

I dislike Smith because he whinges line f u c k and he never gives other teams, especially us, any credit.

Norwich won’t hire Bruce, that is awful reporting by the Mail. Bruce is the rank outsider, the longest odds against getting the job amongst all the other possibilities. The Mail is an awful rag these days, owned by the Mirror Group, I believe, which says it all.
