    Gianluca Vialli RIP

    Former Chelsea player & manager Gianluca Vialli has sadly passed away, after losing the
    battle with pancreatic cancer aged 58 years.
    He won the FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Supercup, UEFA Cup winners Cup, charity Shield.

    RIP Gianluca.

    RIP, shocking news.

    Interesting fact: I saw him make his League debut for Chelsea vs Southampton at The Dell in 1996.

    Very shocked at this news. A very skilful player and such a young age. RIP Gianluca gone far too soon.

    A brilliant player. Sadly gone much too early.
    I remember him receiving the special "hospitable" welcome at Millmoor, reserved for "names" when manager of Watford - including having a pie chucked at him

    I was at that game Wrinkly. The wonderful thing about the incident was that Vialli picked up the pie and threw it back at the fella who'd launched it at him!

    RIP - great player and personality!
