Sorry did you mean focus on independence or focus on how to avoid independence, whilst coining it in at the taxpayers/SNP membership expense?

Nail on head !! She needs to move aside and let someone who will deliver. In those 8 wasted years with endless mandates has there been any debate on the Unionist favourite barb Currency ? on borders ? These and many more questions regarding our independence remain unanswered. When you ask yourself why, the answer is simple. Nicola Sturgeon has never allowed any of these ***** issues to be debated. In the last 6 years has Sturgeon allowed any debate on the gender issue either within the party or the members ? The answer is a big fat No. That power mad Woman has been allowed to control the narritive whether in the media or among members of the SNP no discussion allowed in Sturgeons SNP. Sturgeon and her devotees do not own the fight for our Independence we do the people.

Sturgeon has hidden herself for eight long years. Worse still she has allowed our YES Movement and new independence media be vilified and discredited. From 200,000 people marching the streets of our capital now a mere handful participate. She has actively ensured the enthusiasm for our cause has been all but wiped out. Nothing was to distract from her agenda of Gender Reform.

A lot more legitimate reasons, in my opinion, that the YES vote has dwindled.

Currently it's war in Europe. Talk of tactical Nuclear strikes, the energy crisis and financial hardship.

You've got your hard YES voters, your hard NO voters and the others who were scared off last time thanks to project fear.

Can you imagine the MKII project fear this time around. Gads!

Polling puts it at about 50% -50% its probably higher on the Yes on average, But the point I was making was could you imagine the support for Yes had Sturgeon bother her @rse to put some work into what she was elected to do ? Project Fear MK1 has mostly been debunked cant see them having anything left to throw at us in MK II. And believe me folk will start to question the UKs proxy war in Ukraine. Sending Bn's in arms whilst at the same time says there is no money to pay the nurses, teachers fire brigade. Foodbanks poverty not seen since Victorian times. The UKs warmongering is one of the main reasons I want Independence, You name a conflict they have had their neb in it.

Don't believe it for a minute.

The more the English warmonger ( and there's no stopping them) the more the Scots think they're only safe if they stay in the union.

As for project fear, they won't even have to think up anything new, we'll fall for the same old stuff.
Then of course there's the bribes that never actually come to fruition.
We'll fall for all that again too.

If the past 13 years of tory rule at Westminster hasn't convinced people then nothing anyone says will change their mind.

As for convincing people, I don't think it matters as I believe you are either for or against with a small minority who have no real opinion on the matter and are disengaged from politics on the whole. The whole leaving the EU thing is another winner for us, as it will be the young that are impacted more.

Like I keep saying, it is our young who will get us out of the union. They have been brought up with the Scottish parliament and not brainwashed into the old ways like most of us were. Our youth get a bad press, but they are far more switched on to the changes to society on the whole than any of us ever were.

I know there will be older folk who vote yes and yougsters who vote no, but on the whole I suspect it is the older generation who will still hold us back at the moment if a vote was held.

That was the case when I was a youngster.

In 1974 you would have never got me to believe that we wouldn't have our independence by 1980

My missus taught politics & modern studies in the staunchest area of Scotland. The higher class had one kid in it who said he’d vote Tory & he was a hun.

I trust the younger generation 100% to get us out this mess.
