    Yes it was 4-2-3-1.

I think they should try 4-1-4-1 with Washington up front.

Too much hype from supporters over our mediocre January transfer window.

We have employed a motley crew of has-beens and work shy younger players with little talent

Only the lad from Leeds, was a decent acquisition.

Unfortunately Tony Stewart- because of the rapture that greeted these signings can now throw his hands up in the air and say to them, ' well what can you do? You back your manager and he still mucks up'

We need a long term plan for staying in the Championship. We don't have one.

Taylor should be sacked if we lose Tuesday and we need to bring in a talented coach now to prepare for division 1 and a good tilt at promotion next season.

My tip would be Di Canio but Stewart hasn't got the balls to do that. My second choice would be to take a chance on the most intelligent footballer we have ever employed- Kari Arnason.

This guy had some superb ideas about how Rotherham.could be competitive in the championship.

Do you live in a fantasy world! Di Canio another one not wired up right! I do agree with you about last window Leo Coventry Hugill Fosu give them a chance but a commanding centre back central midfielder good enough we needed. Evans showed us how transfer windows should be done he got enough quality in twice to get us up then keep us up.

Yesterday was the turning point for me, i feel now we are doomed for relegation again, previously i thought we would survive.
I couldn't see what formation we were supposed to be be playing, it's the first time i've doubted MT.
Initially thought Chieo would be beside Hugill, which i wouldn't have minded, but instead Hugill left on his own with no support, and when he did get a chance he fluffed his lines.
Their goals both stemmed from mistakes, the first unusually from Hall who committed himself when he had no chance of gettting the ball, the second from Eaves when he should have laid it off earlier.
I couldn't see anything wrong with our goal, that would have changed the game. Coventry are a decent but ordinary side and we should have done better, what they did have is composure maybe that comes with sitting in a comfortable league position.
A very strange bench, no midfield, Don't tell me that Lindsay isn't worthy of a place on it, for me he would be in the side. I would prefer him to Coventry who hasn't shown me too much yet, just reminds me of Richie Smallwood.
I thought Chieo played better and looked dangerous again, and Basil was rightfully MOM
Bench will have to change on Tuesday as Wright cannot play will he bring Wood back in? Also what about Kioso and Harding, both good players.
As i say it's the first time i have doubted the manager, if he is as good a manager as i think he may be then he needs to prove it, if there is a problem with some of the players then sort it, that is what the word manager means, manage.

It doesn't really matter what formation they play - if the players stand about like statues - especially when Tom Eaves had 1 perhaps 2 blue shirts snapping at his ankles - Tom Eaves was looking to lay the ball off & not 1 red shirt was looking for a pass - even a 5yd / 10yd pass to retain possession. Instead a misplaced pass & the rest is history.

Shane Ferguson had his best two games for a while when playing on the right as the ' inverted' player & he scored.
Manager has to take some responsibility & so do the players.

Plenty to do before Tuesday night.

What a difference a week makes. A week ago we were toothless against Blackpool but it was mostly positive about the point gained.
    Suddenly we look shoddy again.
Looked like we lacked intensity yesterday and I don’t understand the sudden formation change. We’d have beaten Reading if Andy Carrol wasn’t on the pitch.
    Back to basics 442 please.

We are in a battle again now. It’s time for a couple of players to stand up and be counted.

Chieo was the best of a bad bunch yesterday.

Why have we stopped being a threat from set pieces?

Where were the ball boys. Players having to go fetch the ball themselves at this level??

Very little creativity especially in or around the box - Jordan Hugill is feeding off scraps ( I have more chance of scoring.
Quality of the corners / free kicks into the area are average to poor.
If it's not broken then don't mend it - if it's not working try something a little different occasionally.
Doesn't seem to be too many ' leaders' out there on the pitch either.

This squad is capable of survival - they just happen to be making hard work of it atm.

They are still there, but since we had electronic boards they only fetch ball if it goes over the board, are they told not to jump or reach over the electronic boards. That and they are on their phones.

It’s not for me to tell professional managers and coaches what they should do. But we played 433 against Sheffield United and Blackpool. 442 against Reading and 4231 yesterday. I’d like to see a settled formation.
