Too many times when a player had the ball, there was no one making themselves available to receive it.

I couldn’t see them from the west stand.

The boards have been there all season but I only noticed it yesterday.

Why have we stopped being a threat from set pieces? Because we stand still nobody attack’s the ball,Hugill doesn’t get much service but he doesn’t move he stands marked he doesn’t try to make himself space. If he wins a header it goes to nobody. We could do with two more like Rathbone.

    So would I.
I don't reckon he knows his best side or formation YET.
Expecting Leo back in the side Tuesday & perhaps another couple of changes (again)

    ^^^^ Exactly ^^^^

And they still keep losing possession needlessly.
Looked at times yesterday we were playing at 100mph & getting nowhere.
Frustrating game - even more so when1-0 down and chasing the game.

I’m not going to comment on the football as it’s already been commented and some decent observations

I thought the Cov fans were some of the loudest we’ve had at the nys but I thought they were also a bit fickle
They sang a lot for the first 5 mins but after they realised we had put them on the back foot a bit they went into library mode until they scored their first. Football in a library indeed

Even after then they got a bit nervous and went quiet wondering if we’d equalise (rest easy lads, no need to panic) and then celebrated like they’d won the World Cup after the second went in

Easy to celebrate a goal and a certain victory but they went missing when their team needed a lift and needed them the most

Evans never had to deal with transfer windows, he was here when you were still allowed to sign loan players throughout the season, and he signed one nearly every week. Since the change in the rules came in he’s had no success as a manager until this season with Stevenage. And to quote you, he’s gone, forget about him.

Imo When a team doesn't look like scoring like we did yesterday it's usually down to the great organisation of the opposite team. Coventry don't conced many goals because whilst they don't have many star players they are well organised and tough to beat.

We have struggled with the forward line all season and if you look at the chances we have had (and missed) plus the goals we have scored. How many are scored by our forwards?
Since January we have lost first team players cuffy, barlaser and the lad from uddersfield. And replaced them with Coventry, fosu and lad from Watford. We have added a non scoring forward in hugill. (We already have 3) The only good thing about the January window was adding Morrison and Leo. Ow wait those names have missed more than they have played due to injury.

On a positive we have looked a match for the teams we have player and prob edged it in one of the Half's. Everyone fit we have a chance of staying up. Time is ticking.

Tuesday at home to Sunderland will be tough. I’d take a point now and hope to see a raised performance. They are a good side and playing well.
Everyone plays before us at the weekend so if the all get poor results, the league table writes MTs team talk for him on Monday.

I doubt we will take many to Swansea on Monday night.

I would agree with most of that & add in - every player chosen has to be 100% on their game - we can't afford to be carrying too many players otherwise it's an uphill battle.
They're picked as a team / squad so should play as a team / squad.
What few chances we get then we need to take advantage.

Looks like the Blackburn game was a one off - although I didn't see or hear too many fans complaining back then.
