Very satisfying to stick four past them after they tried to make us, and especially LW, out to be the bad guys. Regarding the two bookings, it would have been nice if the refs were as prompt with their treatment of opposing keepers time wasting as the ref was tonight with SS. It was probably justified but sticks in the craw when set aside the way opposition keepers waste time at Meadow Lane. I would have thought Chicksen's booking was for unsportsmanlike conduct rather than time wasting. If so it again makes a mockery of the non booking of that little Chesterfield tw*at after his goal celebrations against us.
I think it was four goals tonight with JB and MP on the same pitch tonight , the two assists by JB for Sam Austin were delicious.

I certainly didn't see anything in Bridge tonight that would put him ahead of the goal machine, Adam Chicksen. At the moment we've got a genuine goal threat from LWB and multiple creative threats from RWB. I trust our recruitment folks and I'm sure Bridge is better than tonight suggested, but I don't think we're badly served for LWBs as it is. Joel Taylor's not bad when he's on his game.

Like I've said above, Bostock's now match sharp and in the last two home games he's been given much more freedom to get forward, leaving Matt Palmer more space to perform the deep role. Bostock has the quality on the ball to pose a huge attacking threat at this level.
Two of the four goals tonight came from Bostock crosses, with Sam Austin doing the finishing.

And yes, Jodi Jones is class. The only question was whether his abilities had been diminished by serious injuries, but not on the evidence so far. He's another one whose best is probably still to come, given that he's building up match fitness too. It's scary... in a nice way!

Nice to see someone else coming round to my way of thinking about the refereeing bias towards Wrexham, not only the penalties, (I seem to remember Solihull's captain being sent off when he was the one that was fouled, earlier in the season on their cabbage patch) Mullin should have been shown a yellow for that double twist with half pike, to earn? the first of their two penalties tonight.

I've seen limited clips of him in action for south end and he looks tidy , good running with the ball , but seemed to be cutting in from the left going with his right foot !?
This leads me to believe he is right footed , do we need a right footed left sided midfielder / defender ?

We played a left footed midfielder on the right.

I saw it the same way. Clubs have spells where they get given loads of penalties erroneously. Remember Manchester United under Ferguson? Plus the crazy amount of injury time that used to get played at Old Trafford if they weren't winning.

Speaking of Brown envelopes in back pockets, reminded of what Coventry must have done
